"bit disappointed you haven't updated your blog for like 2 years 5 months 1 week 3 hours 45 minutes and.......6 seconds no wait now its 17"

Well i've had my reasons ie working every day for a month - 9 hours a day.
You were last left on the cliffhanger of me having 3 exams in 24 hours.. (I think... I mean im sure I posted it up,cant be assed to check it now. Anyway if I didn't, I had 3 exams in 24 hours)
Revision was a nightmare as you'd expect. The library was packed full of Chinese people and pigeons who flew thru the window. One stood two foot away and started staring at me,which when 90 Chinese people are watching to see what happens, is not the best exam preperation.
"Look, one of us is going to get crapped on here" turned out to be a suitable deterant by myself and it flew away. Yet the momentum had gone, and I returned home on the bus to pursue my intrest in Radiocarbon dating.
The first two exams went quite well but the third exam was the trickiest subject and by the time the second had finished I was shattered. Comtemplating going in the exam room pissed I deided to instead simply read over my essay and not worry to much. Im allowed to fail 2 of the three exams due to my hard work in the first semister.
When the exam question was essentially the same as my essay question I nearly actually cried with relief. I'm the master of jamming out of hard work usually and tricky exams but this was one of the great escapes as three weeks later,i'd passed. Easy.
After that it was one last party and then goodbye. I didnt say goodbye to many people as I wanted to get back and earn some cash. All my stuffs still in Southampton which I need to bring back when I can con my dad to help me. Again the "I wont drive" card is back firing on me...
So now I'm back and it's like I'd never been away. Unfortunatly. I had to lugg my suitcase on the train then into the bike hold where I ended up asleep for 40 mins until some selfish twat decided there would be a good place to put his bike. I tried to negotiate with him to either take the bike or train, not both but to no avail.
Grist was kind enough to pick me up from the station and I was whisked away to face the teachers in a 5 a side match. Knowing my fitness and how tired I was I prob shouldnt have bothered but I found myself alongside Mark, grist,Jacko and Mounty vs Whitehead,Green,Whiley,Withim and some kid who looked 15 in goal.
Despite being 7 goals down at one point we were able to get back into it, little thanks to me tho I was able to score one and save a JCW pen. End of the game we find ourself a goal behind when a Matt Grist slam off the wall finds me unable to stop running and karate kick the ball into the net. Probably one of my best looking goals and def one of my biggest flukes its enough to earn a draw and boast my ego up slightly.
Work however is depressing. Very very depressing. I like the fact I'm earning again and its "just like a 6th form centre" as Swade puts it but the social aspect does little to make up for the sheer mind numbing, want to rip off your arm just for something to do that you have at Tescos. I've invested in a fan now and will start the revision cards up soon but its incredibly dire.
Then my lucky day came in when dot com needed a "Buddy" to help out in the van for the day doing deliveries. I had to help out a driver called Russ take out boxes to various people who cannot get to Tescos. These people are mostly fat. Yeah they live far away but they are still fat dont take that away from them.
After Russ realises in the morning that I dont automatically know how to lock the doors and his system of doing things,he finally shows me and explains we have a target time of 6 minutes per delivery. Things look good with just one hour to go as we approach the last few deliverys in Box.
The second delivery entails us going up an impossibly steep drive.Imagine the steepest hill you've ever been up.Its probably not that steep but its close. Anywho we park up and Russ tells me to go and unpack the back while he talks to the house owner, some buissness twat whos on his mobile outside.
As I go to open the door,I hear some gravel move and decide to see what it is. Humerously enough it's the buisness twats Skoda heading straight down the drive at me.
A valuable lesson learned from this is that when you want your legs to move, they actually wont first time around. I get to move to one side and seconds later the Skoda slams straight into the van.
The damage to the Skoda is immense and the twats going to have to fork out a bit I would imagine with the entire back end destroyed. It doesnt hit me untill 20 mins later when we're finally driving off how lucky I was.
Russ - "Reckon you'd have been killed if you'd been caught up in that"
Me- "You reckon?"
Russ - "Definatly, look at what happened to the Skoda, you'd have been squashed between them both"
Me - "..............Took longer then 6 minutes though"
Had I not have turned around when I heard the gravel move, been lifting things out the back or not heard anything at all, there's a very good chance I wouldnt be here now. Yet oddly enough this doesnt inspire me to do a blog entry for a fortnight....
Will attempt to write up about the pub quiz during tomorrows lunch break at work but need to sleep now asap.
